Calendar Events

• Finding Strength in the Lord – Emotional Resilience Group: 18 Jan - 19 Apr 2026 / Sundays 4:30-6:30pm  (Weekly Virtual Meetings). Register with this link: Spring 2026 Self Reliance. 12 week course led by a facilitator. Course manual is provided at no cost. See flyer here. Registration will remain open until end of month.

• Stake Youth Pioneer Trek Kickoff: Sun, Feb 1 from 6-7 pm at the Beavercreek church building. Theme: Walk With Me (Moses 6:34). For youth turning 14-18 this year. Parents and leaders invited. Learn about this amazing event taking place Jun 10-13. See flyer for details. Trek documents are available at doesyouth.com.

• Worldwide Devotional for Young Adults: Broadcast available Feb 1st on church website and apps. Hear from Elder and Sister Kearon. Event will also commemorate 100 years of Institutes of Religion in the church.

• Choir Rehearsals for Praise, Hope, Sing:  At the Beavercreek building on Sundays at 7 pm (Feb 1, Feb 8, Feb 22, Mar 1) with one final rehearsal on Fri, Mar 6 from 6-9 pm at the Beavercreek High School. Please come participate if you enjoy singing.

• Blood Drive: Thurs, Feb 5 from 3 to 7 pm at the Fairborn church building. Appointment preferred. Go to donate.versitidayton.org. See attached flyer with details.

• Springboro Ward Valentine's Family Dance & Service Project: Sat, Feb 7 from 6:30-8:30 pm at our church building. Get ready to dance the night away. The theme is "Love Letters and Packages from Home". 1940s dress; bring a dessert to share. Sandwiches and punch will be provided. If you have love letters from ancestors, bring a photocopied version to share. Children's activity is planned. Youth and adults learn swing dancing in the cultural hall. Service opportunity: write letters to servicemen and women and donate to Blue Star Mothers. Invitation attached.

• Stake Young Women Galentine's Event: Sat, Feb 21, 8:45-11:45 am at the Beavercreek building. You are encouraged to bring a friend. Details here. 

• Stake Young Men BroBQ: Sat, Feb 21, 4-7 pm at the Beavercreek building. For all Young Men and their leaders. Invite your friends! Details here.

• Springboro Ward Conference: Sun, Feb 22 at our building at the usual Sunday meeting time.

• Pre Women's Conference Service Day: Sat, Feb 28 from 10 am to 12 pm at the Fairborn building for all women in the Dayton Ohio East Stake and friends. Projects will serve two local area organizations. Save the date and invite a friend. See flyer for details and list of needed items.

• "Praise, Hope, Sing": A Regional Interfaith Musical Event: Sun, Mar 8, at 7:00 p.m., at Beavercreek High School (2660 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek).

• Worldwide Relief Society Devotional Broadcast: Starting Sun, Mar 8, this broadcast will be available to watch on the church website or apps.

• Spring Tri-Stake Youth Dance: Sat, Mar 14 from 7-10 pm. Details will be added soon.

• Family History Jamboree: Sat, Mar 28, 8:30 am to 4 pm, at the church building on Whipp Rd. Hosted by Dayton Ohio Stake. Open to all at no cost. See flyer here. Register at fhj1.org.

• Dayton Area Women's Conference "Gathered As One in Christ": Sat, April 18, 2026 from 9 am to 3:30 pm at the Huber Heights building. Please visit our website asoneinchrist.org for more information and to register. Please register as soon as possible so we can plan appropriately for our catered lunch.

• Ward Meeting Time for 2026: Sacrament meeting begins at 12 noon at our church building in Middletown, and 2nd hour meetings follow. 

• Healing through the Savior Support Meeting: Family and friends. Sundays 8-9 pm at the Beavercreek church building.

• 2026 Family Promise Training and Hosting: On Thursday and Friday evening once a quarter, our ward has the assignment to provide dinner, fellowship, and youth activities for families at Family Promise. Dates for 2026 are April 30 & May 1, June 18 & 19, Oct 22 & 23. ***** Family Promise holds a training session, usually on the first or second Saturday of each month, for those interested in helping in person. • Interested in Participating in an Easter Presentation?: Columbus Ohio Stake will host a performance of "Lamb of God" for Easter 2026. If you, your family, friends, or neighbors are interested in participating (in the choir, as a soloist, as a member of the orchestra, technology, etc.) sign up using this link. Our goal is to come together as a community and share our love and testimonies of the Savior. • Church magazines can be read digitally (you can sign up for email notifications when new issues are available), and you can sign up for a print subscription for free. The Liahona is written for adults. Youth and children have their own magazines, too: For the Strength of Youth and The Friend. For each option, digital and print, go to MagazineSubscriptions.ChurchofJesusChrist.org and sign in with a Church account. Subscribe or select email for online magazines.

• www.JustServe.org Find service projects anywhere in the U.S. Search for your town or zip code and choose distance (5-70 miles). This website, by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is for everyone, young and old, neighbors and community! Anyone can add service opportunities, which the stake coordinator will approve. Create a username and password to track hours, projects, add favorites, and post local opportunities. • Church Service Opportunities: Looking for a way to serve others? This is a list of service opportunities that is updated by a member in our stake. It is updated regularly. Church Service and Service Mission Opportunities 

• Family Search Center: The Family Search Center in Fairborn is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 8 pm, Fridays from 10 am to 5 pm, and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. Please call 937-878-9551 before coming to make sure they are staffed by volunteers. The address is 3060 Terry Dr, Fairborn, OH. Facebook page: "Family History Center - Fairborn". Attend the center on Jan 31 from 10 am to 2 pm for Italian genealogy sessions with Mike Garrambone.

• Columbus Temple: At the rededication of the temple, President Ballard encouraged us to view temple attendance with urgency. Temples are a blessing to us, and we are encouraged to attend regularly or prepare so that we can attend. Schedule temple appointments online at the church website churchofjesuschrist.org/temples OR email or call the Columbus temple.
