• Stake Relief Society Fireside: Sun, Sep 13 at 7 pm. Beavercreek church building. See flyer here for details.

• Friend to Friend video: New video for children: The Family is of God, will be released on Sept 13 and can be viewed at the church website.

• Reserve Tickets to Tour the Salt Lake Temple in 2027: Sept 15 and Oct 1 at 7 pm (Eastern Daylight Time) using this link.

• Volunteer to help Indiana Flood victims this month! You, your friends, and family can find a project at www.justserve.org/IndianaFloodRelief. Projects include: handling, stocking, and connecting people with emergency supplies; Ravenswood neighborhood large item clean up; volunteer coordinator; delivery of residents' requested needs, supplies, and worksite recovery team materials; assemble hygiene kits and other basic-needs packages for residents and households. Each project has directions to know what to bring, what to wear, where to meet, and more details about the project. Remember when Dayton needed help? Now it's our turn to help Indiana!

• Ward Valiant Activity Days: For primary children 8 and up. Activities are held each 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7 pm (often held at our church building; leaders will communicate details of each activity). Mark your calendars!

• 2026 YSA Cities of  Light Northeast Conference: For YSA (singles 18-35). Sep 18-20. Register for this event here. Read more information here. 

• CES Edventure: For youth ages 11-18 and parents/leaders. Wed, Sep 23 at 7 pm at the Huber Heights church building. Seminary, institute, BYU-I, and BYU representatives will be attending to provide information about CES (church educational system) opportunities. • Stake Fall Festival: Sat, Sep 26 from 5:30 - 8 pm at the Beavercreek building. Family fun! Kids' soccer, ultimate frisbee, 9 square-in-the-air. Burgers, hot dogs, popcorn, shaved ice, cotton candy. Bring your own chair and come to relax and have fun! See flyer for details and for sharing.

• General Conference: Broadcasts on Sat, Oct 3 at 12pm and 4 pm, as well as Sun, Oct 4 at 12 pm and 4 pm. Hear from our prophet and other church leaders.

• Stake Blood Drive: Save the date for Thurs, Oct 8 from 4-7 pm at the our Springboro Ward building (in the gym). Schedule your time using the QR code on the flyer here.

• Special Stake Temple Night: Columbus Ohio Temple on Saturday, October 10, 2026. This sacred Temple evening is reserved exclusively for members of the Dayton Ohio East Stake. Evening Schedule -5:00 PM — Prayer Meeting: Gather in the Gateway Building Chapel across the street from the Temple. 5:30 PM — Temple Entry: Patrons may enter the Temple. 9:00 PM — Evening Concludes: All ordinances will be complete, and the evening will come to a close. Note: The Temple is covering the Laundry positions (no need for laundry sign-ups). Sign up here.

• Springboro Family History Fiesta: Fri, Oct 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 at our church building. Day of the Dead themed activities.

• Tri-Stake Youth Fall Dance: Sat, Oct 24, 7-10 pm at the Beavercreek building. For youth 14 and up. Flyer here.

Useful Information

• Stake Emergency Preparedness Campaign: Over the next 12 months, the stake is encouraging us to review and improve our emergency preparedness. This will enable us to better care for ourselves and family members, as well as minister to those around us in a time of need. Access the plan guide here.

• Look Unto Christ Faith Walk: Bear Creek Camp, Indiana, a 1.3 mile trail and guided journey, in the quiet beauty of the camp at night. A reminder that Christ walks beside us, offering healing, hope, and clarity through life’s challenges. Available to the public on Friday evenings in Sept. Reserve spots to attend. Flyer here. • Ward Meeting Time for 2026: Sacrament meeting begins at 12 noon at our church building in Middletown, and 2nd hour meetings follow. 

• Healing through the Savior Support Meeting: Family and friends. Sundays 8-9 pm at the Beavercreek church building.

• 2026 Family Promise Training and Hosting: Once a quarter, our ward has the assignment to provide dinner, fellowship, and youth activities for families at Family Promise. Upcoming dates for 2026 are Oct 22 & 23.  Family Promise holds a training session, usually on the first or second Saturday of each month, for those interested in helping in person. • Family Search Center: The Family Search Center in Fairborn invites you to come to the center and see the new equipment. Bring pictures from your house to quickly scan. New hours are Thurs. 10am to 7pm, Fri. 10am to 4pm, and Sat. 10am to 2pm. 

• Columbus Temple: At the rededication of the temple, President Ballard encouraged us to view temple attendance with urgency. Temples are a blessing to us, and we are encouraged to attend regularly or prepare so that we can attend. Schedule temple appointments online at the church website churchofjesuschrist.org/temples OR email or call the Columbus temple.
